I was gonna name it frequently asked questions but... i have not had many questions so far! Hopefully this is endearing

But I thought I should make a devlog to talk about some of the things to expect and answer some questions that I think will probably be asked.

Q - What is the development plan?

I'm glad you asked because I barely know too! I mostly just want to have fun working on my game but I can definitely manage one update per month. Alpha stages are mostly just a proof-of-concept for me to lay out the story and framework before I move onto beta where I make it actually look good. Alpha will end whenever the game manages to make it to the one choice of the game which occurs at the end of Year 1.

Beta will be for polish! I will learn how to actually animate with ren'py. Won't that be fun and look a lot more natural

Q - Is the art for the game how it will appear in the full release?

No! During the Alpha stages I am using placeholder images that I made primarily to figure out their designs and outfits. Around the time of Bet I will be making actual renders for the main characters with expressions and stuff!
Also i will attempt to draw backgrounds, but if that goes south.... hope u like blurry stock photos :)

Q - WHEN does the story take place?

The story starts with each of the main characters attending their first year of college at ages 17 - 19 and takes place over a three year period of time. The current in-universe year is 65,619.

Q - WHERE does the story take place?

Aurum Academy takes place in a fictional alternate Earth where everyone is a furry and has magic, mostly because I think that's fun and neat.
Aurum City is a fictional place in the fictional alternative Central Aurica (Central Africa). The language spoken by the characters in-universe is Swahili!

Q - This game is NSFW! When will the booty arrive and what kind of booty will it be?

NSFW stuff will probably be done very sparingly, especially in the first year of the story. I planned to only implement sexy things around the end of the story but that sounds kinda really far down the line so I'm open to adding more if that's what some people want!
All of the NSFW content will be of male or nonbinary characters over the age of 18!

So as you can (probably) tell, this project is mostly just  for fun and learning, but I also equally want other people to enjoy it and have their own fun! Feedback and comments are welcome! Tell me if u would like to see more booty, more fantasy, or more drama OR all of the above
