IGNORE THIS UPDATE I just wanted to show my friends the current work in progress (it's minuscule) and oh my god a renpy update changed the ui now I don't know how to work anything, what to heck!! !1 if you wanna try it just expect a mess
but yeah if there's anyone actually still interested in this game I'll cry (positive) Maybe i should just remake it from scratch?? Or a smaller game idea, this shit's supposed to span 3 years in-universe theres noooo way

I agree with the comment below. At least it would be better to split it up — that way it’ll be less complicated and less time-consuming. It’s more or less a shortcut
I also have another question. What is Kienan's purpose? I mean, throughout the story, he's more or less lost, you could say.
That's a really good question!!! He is a little lost and conflicted, but I need to work on showing his own individual personality more.
He's kinda built up the academy in his mind and now that he's actually made it he kinda doubts himself. More about him will be revealed hehe (hopefully it wont take years lmao)
Might i suggest if its supposed to span 3 ingame years to split it in to 3 parts. That way you could focus on doing year 1 then take a break or do a mini project in between before returning to do year 2. It should help stop from burn out too. It could also help make the story clearer for you to write, having an over arching plot over the whole 3 years but each year itw own contained plot that builds up on top of each other.
Ooh, that's a good idea! I was planning to have it sort of split up into Year 1, Summer 1, Year 2, Summer 2, etc . Not a strict split mind you, just like the main story then some route specific scenes during the time in between academy years!
What does that mean? Are you starting a new project? If that's the case, I'm still here to support you. And I can't wait to see it.
Aww that's so sweet of you! I'm always debating if I should try a smaller VN before I try to tackle this one all the way... The original plan for Aurum Academy is it to span over the whole time they're there at the academy but that'sss a lot of writing lol. I only have the key parts of the story mapped out in my head, and coming up with the inbetween is where it's a struggle. If I do more updates I'm gonna probably do some timeskips
I’d say, take your time—there’s no need to rush. It’s better to choose something that will satisfy both you and your community
I’m leaving this comment just to say that, in my opinion, this project deserves a second chance, because the story so far is truly, truly beautiful. I really like how the story has been built up to this point. I’m just looking forward to seeing more new characters and more updates on this project. And maybe also discovering other new characters. :3

Looking forward to future updates, and hoping there is a way for the story to continue. Especially if there is a route for Raphael (I wish cute mouse characters were more common in VNs).
